The Blue Zone

Umpires call more low strikes than high. Most will give 1 or 2 ball widths, especially if you are reasonably close to the catchers glove.

 

 

This graphic kinda looks like a tombstone, but it gives you an idea - and wait till you see it combined with the "hitters zone"
