Sad news from Surrey.

The CT boys had a practice this morning (Sat) and although they had 10 guys out, several of them will be away for sure, so they dedided to pack it in as a team.

It is a sad day. We just didn't have enough guys that were able to commit full-time and we would have been struggling to field nine guys on a regular basis. That's not a fun situation to be in.

Some of they guys are heading over to Sar Majors. Others are either packing it in or taking some time off. There may be a few guys interested in moving to another team and I can pass along some numbers if there are teams looking to round out their rosters. Just email me (taharms@alumni.sfu.ca) and I'll pass them along.

I would just like to take the opportunity to thank Albert for all the hard work he's done over the years for Country Tree. It's a shame we couldn't keep the Country Tree going for a few more years.
