Results from the Weekend

Winners: Strawberry Vale Braves
Top Pitcher: Shawn Koster
MVP: Mike Peters
Top Batter: Kris Walushka

The westher Co-operated with us over the weekend. We had sunny weather. Dominant pitching performances were the flavour of the weekend. Mike Peters from Palladian tossed 2 two hitters, Shawn Koster tossed a one hitter and a two hitter. The Emery Brotghers combines to toss two no hitters over the weekend. Cory Avery tossed a 2 hitter and a one hitter. Gordon Mainwaring Tossed two three hitters.Duncan looked to have the best offense over the weekend with a good hitting performances and they pitching staff was by committee. The Wheatsheaf squad was a tale of two teams. There pitching was dominant all weekend giving up only 5 runs which was the lowest at the tournament but there bats could not connect during both of there morning games.

Thanks to all the teams who pieced together teams to support our tournament.

Congrats to tge Braves for winning the title

On behalf of the Strawberry Vale Braves, I'd like to thank Jesse and his whole team for the tourney as well as the Wheatsheaf Pub and Sports Complex. Great Tourney to get the season started, and perfect weather as stated. Will return next year to defend the title!

Jesse, make sure it says Kris Walushka on the plaque, and not Chris, he would not be happy with that. Got it enough in his childhood, and it was the Emery Brothers, not the Enery Broghers. Atta BABY

Thanks Again. See you at the park.
