Criteria for classifying teams
New teams begin at the "D" level and are typically club teams or neighbourhood teams.
No pickups allowed. Replacement players may be allowed in some circumstances.
"D" teams may include one "C" calibre pitcher and one "B" caliber player, providing they played minimum 50% of team's league games.
"D" teams are moved to "C" upon having success at the "D" level and exceeding either of the above criteria.
"C" teams are allowed pickups from within their local park league.
"C" teams are allowed one "B" pitcher and one "A" or "B" player, providing they have played minimum 50% of team's league games.
"C" teams are moved to "B" upon having success at the "C" level and exceeding either of the above criteria.
"B" teams are allowed pickups from within their zone.
"B" teams are allowed one "A" pitcher and two "A" players, providing they have played minimum 50% of team's league games.
"B" teams compete at Western Canadian Championships.
"A" teams compete at National Championships and can pickup from within the province.
