Concept of A+C=B
In order to facilitate an increase in teams attending tournaments, coaches are allowed to leapfrog by picking up a pitcher from two classifications higher and only move up one classification.
For example, a "C" team could pick up an "A" pitcher and compete at the "B" level, or a "D" team could pick up a "B" pitcher and compete at the "C" level.
Conversley, a "B" team could compete at the "C" level by using only "D" level pitching. |
