New faces helping out

Josh McKay (left) is one several new faces on the '06 Meralomas that have helped the club get off to a 2-0 start.

McKay lead off the 2nd inning with a single and then scored on a 2 run triple hit by another newcomer, Tyler Cross.

In the 7-0 win over the Firefighters on Friday night, the Loma lineup also included Brian Mayson and Rob Woodrow, who were the battery for the local Junior team that captured Silver in 2003.

Derek Mayson picked up the win and Craig Park was tagged with the loss.
