needed one more arm

The Sox hinted at the end of last season that they would like to have "one more arm" going into the Cdn championships.

Mike "Peaches" Piechnik turned out to be the Sox's thrower of choice.

"it's nice to have a lefty" said Conrad Margolis, "and Mike has as good credentials as anyone in the game."

Piechnik is committed to the Portland CR/Adidas club for the regular season and the ISC's.

The big lefty will be joining the Vancouver club for the Canadian Nationals in Prince George late in the season.
